Step Into the Racqueteers Tennis Club
The Racqueteers Tennis Club is a group of ladies who love playing tennis, enjoy each others company and have many interests in common.
Our Story
Experience the legendary Racqueteers legacy. Founded in 1976 by twelve Canada College students determined to spark a year-round tennis movement, our community began as a simple morning round-robin with one golden rule: commitment to the game and each other. From those twelve pioneers, we have grown into a premier collective of 60 elite athletes. Today, our original founders still grace the courts, proving that our club is more than a sport—it is a lifelong bond. Join a heritage built on the four pillars of Fun, Fitness, Friendship, and Forever. Discover why local athletes choose us for competitive excellence and enduring sisterhood. Your place on the court and in our history awaits you today.

What we do

Offer a membership of committed, dedicated players
The club is limited to 60 active tennis players and about 20 associate members. The associate members are former active players who no longer participate in the regular tennis play days but enjoy coming to the Racqueteer social functions.
Provide organized, competitive, fun weekly tennis
The Club organizes morning play days on Tuesday and Saturdays, and on Thursdays for more competitive ladder-type play.
Social Events
The Racqueteers have two tennis tournaments a year: a Fall Tournament for members only and a Spring Tournament for members and Racqueteer substitues. Each tournament is followed by social time and lunch. To top off each year, the members gather for the Holiday Luncheon and general meeting.
Opportunities to get involved
A new Board of Directors is elected every year. The Board holds monthly meetings and assures the Bylaws of the Club are adhered to. In addition, there are opportunities to chair and participate in tournment and social activities committees, and for supporting functions, like managing the website or producing the monthly newsletter.
